Commissions

Have a bird you want painted? I take commissions for birds — any bird at all, from a beloved backyard visitor to the rarest thing you’ve ever spotted. (Only birds, though — it’s what I love to paint!)

How it works

1. Tell me about your bird. Use the form below to share the species, the story behind it, and anything special you’d like captured. If your commission is quite specific, you’re welcome to supply photos or sketches for me to work from.
2. We settle the details together. We’ll talk through size and pricing — larger paintings cost more — and I’ll give you a sense of timing. How long a commission takes depends on the piece.
3. A 50% deposit starts the painting. Once we’ve agreed on the details, half the price is paid up front through the shop’s secure checkout. The deposit is non-refundable — it reserves your place and lets me begin.
4. I paint your bird.
5. The remaining half on completion. When the painting is finished, the second half is paid through the shop, and your bird makes its way home to you.
